I've been a tattoo artist for 9 years, with a degree in Graphic Design and 17 years of experience as a draftsman. My specialty in tattooing is colorful flora and fauna.
Over the years, I have studied and mastered various techniques that allow me to perform a variety of themes within my own style.
Plants, animals, mushrooms, insects, objects, words, portraits, renovations, and cover-up tattoos are always welcome...
Creative Process
Freehand
Done with a pen, directly on the body, this method allows the tattoo design to perfectly match the anatomy of the chosen area. Ideal for large designs.
Because it's a more time-consuming method, it's common to divide the process into at least two sessions. The first focuses on drawing and tattooing the lines of the design's structure, and the second on continuing with the details, colors, etc.
Photographs
One or more photographs are digitally adjusted to work as a tattoo. There is no drawing; the stencil is made directly from the photo.
Perfect for tattoos that require meticulous detail, such as a portrait of a pet, a specific insect species, or a highly detailed object.
It's a quick method and is generally ideal for small tattoos.
Authoral designs ✦ Flash
Drawing and painting are my favorite methods for studying new tattoo designs; these studies eventually become flash designs, which are unique, meaning they are only tattooed once.
As I am always exploring new ideas to improve my work, I offer the opportunity to tattoo these studies, usually at a promotional price, without altering the original design.
